In the poem ‘On the Grasshopper and Cricket’, the poet John Keats celebrates the music of the Earth. He finds beauty in hot summer as well as in the cold winter. Here, in this poem, the grasshopper is a symbol of hot summer and cricket is a symbol of cold winter. The poet says that the music of nature or earth is always alive whether it is hot summer or cold and bleak winter. During the hot summer, all the singing birds are tired and take rest under the shady branches of trees. But even if they don’t sing the song of nature goes on. We can still hear the voice of the grasshopper who runs from hedge to hedge. He keeps singing tirelessly and when tired rests beneath some weed.A grasshopper carries on the duty of singing the everlasting song of nature.  During the cold winter season also, the birds are silent. But the earth has its own way of expressing pleasure and joys. The song of a cricket can be heard which breaks this silence.He sings from the stones but not from the trees. His song

1st Stanza: Here "Sunset and evening" is the symbol of final on last moment of life. Sunset refers to death and evening refers to the beginning of afterlife. Clean call means there is no doubt of death. Everything can be changed but death is must. Here the Poet gave a clear message of death by using "clean call "!! Poet wanted to express his journey after the death and he wished that no one will cry for him. 2nd Stanza : The big waves of the sea come back from the deep sea and come to the shore and disappear, similarly our life also fall into the lap of death. 3rd Stanza:  The final hour of life has rung and the journey to darkness will begin.When he ascends to the eternal journey,he hopes thet no pain of farewell will be seen. 4th Stanza: He feels that may be a strong  flood will bear him far away from this time and place. He hopes that he will see his creator after the death. That means death will come and take him away  from this world and meet him with his creat

Dear Sir, We beg most respectfully to state that we are the students of class ix of your School. You know, there is a canteen in our school. Most of the students come to school from a long distance. They have to take tiffin from this canteen. But it is a matter of sorrow that the condition of canteen is very dissatisfactory. The foods are served and prepared in an unhygienic way. It may harm for the students. So we badly need a hygiene canteen so that students can take hygiene food and keep healthy. English language club helps us to make a good command over four skills in english like reading,writing,listening and speaking. That's why we badly need an english language club and financial support for it.   তুমি এসেছিলে বলে...  ১ম পর্ব স বে মাত্র নবম শ্রেণিতে পদার্পন এর মধ্যে শুরু হল মনের গহীনে কোমল এক অনুভূতির আগমন। সবকিছু যেন নতুন করে দোল খাচ্ছে মনে। আর এই সব কিছুর পিছনে লুকিয়ে আছে এক সুন্দরী রমনী। চণ্ডীদাস ও রজকিনীর প্রেম কাহিনীর মত পুকুরের এক পাশে বসে থাকত সজীব ( বলায় বাহুল্য গল্পের প্রধান চরিত্র) অন্য প্রান্তে সেই সুন্দরী রমনী আসত তার থালা-বাসন নিয়ে ধৌত করার জন্য। অপলক দৃষ্টিতে চেয়ে থাকত সজীব আর অন্য দিকে শিমু (সুন্দরী রমনী) আড়চোখে দেখত আর নিজের কাজে  মনোনিবেশ করত। এভাবে দিনের পর দিন চলতে লাগল। কেউ কাউকে কিছু বলতে হবে এমন ভাবও কারো কাছে নেই। একজন আরেক জনকে দেখলেই  ভালোলাগে শুধু এতটুকুর মধ্যেই সীমাবদ্ধ ছিল। পাশাপাশি বাড়ি হওয়াতে দু'বাড়ির মহিলারা বিকেল বেলায় ভারত-বাংলাদেশ সীমান্তর মতই সীমান্তে দাড়িয়ে দাড়িয়ে গল্প গুজব করত। আর এই সুযোগটা সজীব ও শিমু মিস করত না তারা নিরব দর্শকের মত দাড়িয়ে একজন আরেকজনকে দেখত। তবে চোখাচোখি হলেই লজ্জায় চোখ সরিয়ে নিত আর মুচকি মুচকি হাসত।  ২য় পর্ব স জীব পড়াশোনায় মেধাবী ছিল। সজীব ও শিমু কিন্তু একই বিদ্যালয়ে পড়াশোনা করত। সজীব শিমুর চেয়ে দু ক্লাস সিনিয়র ছিল।

 কোন Preposition কোথায় বসে:- Preposition কাকে বলে? Preposition হল এমন শব্দ যা কোন Noun, pronoun, Noun phrase এর আগে বসে তার সাথে বাক্যস্থিত অন্য কোন শব্দের সম্পর্ক প্রকাশ করে। যেমনঃ I go to University. এখানে to শব্দটি go এবং University এর মধ্যে সম্পর্ক তৈরি করে। ✦✦✦ সাধারণ নিয়মাবলীঃ২৪ ঘন্টার বড় সময় (দিন, সপ্তাহ, মাস, বছর, সাল,) ইত্যাদির পূর্বে in বসে। (যেমনঃ in 1980, in February etc.)২৪ ঘন্টার ছোট সময় (সকাল, দুপুর, বিকাল, সন্ধা, রাত, ঘড়ির সময়) ইত্যাদির পূর্বে at বসে।(নোটঃ সকাল হতে সন্ধ্যা অবধি সময়ের পূর্বে the থাকলে তার পূর্বে in বসে। যেমনঃ in the morning)দিবস, তারিথ, সাপ্তাহিক বার ইত্যাদির পূর্বে on বসে।বড় স্থান/জায়গার পূর্বে in ও ছোট স্থান/জায়গার পূর্বে at বসে। (যেমনঃ I live in Bangladesh at Dhaka.) Perfect continuous tense এর ক্ষেত্রে সময়ের সমষ্টির পূর্বে for এবং নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের পূর্বে since বসে কোন কিছু স্পর্শ করে আছে বুঝালে তার পূর্বে on বসে। শূণ্যস্থানের পরের শব্দ verb এর present (base from) হলে শূণ্যস্থানে to বসে। ✦✦✦ বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রে Preposition এর ব্যবহার At এর ব্যবহার ১. ছোট

  A postman is known to all. He works in the post office. The postman puts on Khaki dress. He carries a leather bag across his shoulders. He keeps letters, money orders, parcels, and others. postal things in it. He also carries some letters in his hand. He is very friendly to all.He has no time to stand and talk. The postman gives useful service to us. Though he draws a very small salary he does a lot of work to us. He brings us news from our friends and relatives. Sometimes he brings good news and sometimes brings bad news to us. It does not at all matter. Everybody waits for him at a certain time of the day or week. For his service, he is a good friend to us.

 

  Early rising is a habit by which a man gets up early from the bed. It is useful in many ways and it is called a good habit. There is a proverb, “Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise. An early riser can take exercise in the morning and it is essential for body and mind. He can also enjoy the fresh morning air. An early riser enjoys the beauty of nature and the colourful flowers and green leaves of the morning makes him fresh and alive. An early riser begins his daily work early and he can do more works than the people who get up late. So early rising is really the source of health, wealth and wisdom.

Every free nation has a national flag of its own. It is the symbol of independence and sovereignty of a free country. We also a free country. So, we have got a flag of our own. We feel proud of our flag because it means that Bangladesh is a free and sovereign country. It reminds us of the valiant struggle of our freedom fighters to set the country free. Our national flag is rectangular in shape having a proportion of 10:6. The flag is hoisted every day on top of our important government buildings and educational institutions. It is hoisted everywhere on the occasions of the Independence Day and the victory day. The national flag is kept half-mast on the occasions of national mourning days. There are two colors. They are green and red. The green is the symbol of the youth and the red is the symbol of the sacrifices of the freedom fighters who laid down their lives.
