But it is a matter of regret that one of our major rivers Buriganga is under the threat of extinction because of so many unforgivable activities done by Dhaka city dwellers. We are dumping industrial garbages and human wastes indiscriminately. Consequently the river and its surrounding areas are now in great trouble. But once the river was our pride. The Mughals made their capital Jahangirnagar on its banks. We must take initiatives to save this historical river from further deterioration.

The graph represents a survey that was conducted on the number of the internet users. The survey shows that the number of the internet users rises rapidly. In 2009, 1.5 lakh people used the internet whereas In 2010, it rose to 3.00 lakh in number. This number is  more than that of 2009. The number of the internet users rose to 3.50 lakh in 2012. In 2013, the number of the internet users rose to 4.25 lakh. In 2015, the number was 5.50 lakh. In 2016, 6.00 lakh people used the internet which rose to 6.50 lakh in 2018. From the graph is obvious that the number of internet users has increased with the passage of time.
