Affirmative to Negative

1. Auxiliary verb ( am, is, are, was, were, have, has, had, do, does, did, can, could, shall, should, will, would, may, might, must, ought to, need to, used to, dare to.) থাকলে এর পর not যোগ করতে হবে এবং adjective / adverb  এর বিপরীত শব্দ হবে।

Example: 

Aff: He is a good student.

Neg: He is not a bad student.

2. Auxiliary verb না থাকলে do/ does / did ব্যবহার করতে হবে।                                      

•    Verb এর present form হলে এবং verb এর শেষে sবাes না থাকলে  do not বসবে।
•    Verb এর present form হলে এবং verb এর শেষে sবাes  থাকলে  does not বসবে।     
•    Verb এর past form হলে did not বসবে। 

( adjective/adverb এর বিপরীত শব্দ হবে।)

Example: 

Aff :  He walks very slowly.

Neg : He does not walk fast at all.

Note:

•  does not বসালে verb এর শেষের sবা es ওঠে যাবে। 
•  did not বসালে verb এর present form হবে।
•  very এর জন্য সবার শেষে at all বসবে ।

3. Sentence এ only বা alone থাকলে ______

• only/alone দ্বারা ব্যাক্তিকে বুঝালে none but
• only/alone দ্বারা বস্তুকে বুঝালে nothing but
• only/alone দ্বারা সংখ্যাকে  বুঝালে not less than/ not more than বসবে।

Example: 

Aff : Only he can do it.

Neg : None but he can do it.

Aff : I have only a shirt .

Neg : I have nothing but a shirt.

Aff : He is only 10 years old.

Neg :  He is not less than 10 years old.

4. Sentence এ must / had to /should থাকলে তা ওঠে যাবে তার পরিবর্তে cannot but বসবে।

Example: 

Aff : You must do the sum.

Neg : You cannot but do the sum.

5. Sentence এ Every থাকলে তা ওঠে যাবে তার পরিবর্তে there is no + sub + but.........বসবে।

Example: 

Aff : Every mother loves her child.

Neg : There is no mother but loves her child.

6. কোনো sentence এ both ............ and থাকলে_____ 

both এর জায়গায় not only এবং and এর জায়গায় but also বসবে।

Example: 

Aff : I like both football and cricket. 

Neg : I like not only football but also cricket.

7. কোনো sentence এ As soon as ........................ , থাকলে তার পরিবর্তে 

                                  No sooner had ..................... than   বসবে।

Example: 

Aff : As soon as I reached the station , the train left.

Neg : No sooner had I reached the station than the train left.

8. একই sentence এ as.......................as থাকলে __________

                        প্রথম  as  জায়গায় not less ২য় as জায়গায় than বসবে।

Example:     

Aff : Mr karim is as strong as his brother.

Neg : Mr karim is not less strong than his brother.

9. Always থাকলে never বসবে এবং adjective বা adverb এর বিপরীত শব্দ হবে।

10. A few থাকলে  not many হবে এবং

       many থাকলে  not a few হবে।

11. A little থাকলে  not much হবে এবং

       much থাকলে  not a little হবে ।
